On July 12th, our friend Hyrum Marston and his wife, Angie were traveling through Asia. Hyrum and our son Benjamin went to Layton schools together and we were in the same ward for years. We invited them to dinner and had a wonderful visit that we might not have had if they were visiting Layton or SLC where they have alot of family. We very much enjoyed them.
This same week on July 14, we received Elder Joseph Nguyen from New York to work in the mission. He is of Vietnamse descent and will work in the Vietnam speaking program. He understands all the Vietnamse that is spoken to him, he is working on being able to speak it. We think he will do great.
