This particular temple is known for all of its faces. Everyone tries to get lined up with one and it looks like you are rubbing noses with the face of kissing it. The costumes represent traditional dances at the time the temple was being used. I think I counted one time 64 faces. But the point is, there are alot!

The Ta Prom temple is known for the large tree roots that climb over the remains of the temple. It is an awe inspiring site to see these huge roots. From the Bayon to the Ta Prom site it really started to pour. We bought the rain coats at the parking area. We were swarmed with helpful sales people, so it was easy to choose the colors we wanted. Scott opted out of any rain coat. I might have the name of this temple spelled wrong. It is Ta P something, so I know I'm close.

Angkor is by far the largest of the temples and the one with the most acreage. It is represented by three levels. The long hallways have carvings that tell somewhat of it's history. These stairs lead to the highest level where only the priests could go during the earlier days of a religion from India, something like Hinduism.

Is it higher going up, or higher coming down? I've been there, done that, so no need to go up again!
