When you first get to this Preserve/Zoo, they take you in a gate and you walk right through monkeys to get to the various animals. Many people bring animals here that are injured and can't take care of themselves anymore. So they protect them here. It rained on us and I got quite wet, but a few minutes later the sun came out and dried us all out.

Upper right hand corner is a sun bear and in the middle picture, there are two sun bears: Kali and Varci! The guy you see in the background on the picture with rain, our guide called coconut boy. He totally followed us the whole time we were there, trying to get us to buy some coconuts. That is his only way to make a living. He was very persistent. But since we don't like coconut milk too bad, we didn't buy from him. The above bathroom, is called a squatter. At least it was a fairly clean one. In the back you see a yellow kind of scoop sitting in a reservoir of water. You scoop up the water and clean out the bowl.

More protected animals. The darker cage is a HUGE Python, whose path I would not want to cross, along with the alligator, Tiger, wild boar and elephant. There were only two in cages: the tiger and the python. The alligator was in an enclosure.

The bottom right hand is our guide and Coconut Boy. Both very knowledgeable about the animals. I would assess this zoo as being a very lively and fun one!
We miss you guys! London loved the animal pictures but, I didn't enjoy the crocodile. Sorry, I hate reptiles (as Jerry would say it.)! Loves!
