We actually hiked to the top of this hill to the Wat. It's a beautiful view. I put on my pants for this hike, since we were still on vacation, but Scott just put on his Nikes as you can see in the picture below with Varci and Kali.
On the way up to the above Wat there are quite a few monkey's around. If you have bananas they will take them from your hand and eat them. However, we passed on that one.
I loved the baby monkey. It's the same one that we got a picture of in June with the Zone Conference activity. He hasn't grown too much in a month's time. The day we came here was July 8th.

We then went down to the Bat Caves so the girls could see this unusual phnonemen (sp?) If you look close you can see them all lined up against the evening sky. This time they came out exactly at 6:30 p.m. We have been here before when they come out at 6:10 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. It depends on what time of year and when the sun goes down. Sundown seems to vary here by at the most 30 minutes depending on what the season is.
Many of our missionaries try to get a picture that makes it look like the bats are coming out of their mouths, so that is what Kali is trying to do.
