Varci and Kali, along with us and the 2 missionaries, went to visit this new member. His wife is a member, and he just joined. Her nephew who lives in Australia was just sent here as a missionary to serve the Vietnam people in Cambodia. They were so thrilled to have him here, that on a visit to Battambang, they came to the hotel where he was eating, and Scott let them visit a bit with him. The man above was not yet a member and we all met him. He was impressed with his nephew and they all were so proud of him. We think it encouraged him to continue learning with the missionaries. Kali had brought some ties with her from Arizona from her ward and so, these ties are those. The man below is the son of the new member and he also is an active member.
The two boys below are friends. One came in to hear the lesson on having an eternal family. He is not a member. The one on the left. The one on the right, is a member.
