Sien Sok

While Varci and Kali were still here we went to Sien Sok so Scott could do some interviews and we went teaching with Elders Phan and Walker. These are some views of this community. In my eyes, this is one of the poorer areas surrounding Phnom Penh. However, they are some of the most humble, loving and sincere people that a person will ever meet. The top left picture is a community well. The brother in the picture with Scott is one that Scott gave a tie to.

Picture of a typical street in Sien Sok. The middle picture is of the sister that we helped teach a lesson to. Her home is probably 6 ft by 8 ft. Very small. She is the one that I have told some of you offered me some meat. After we taught her, we went to visit a family on the above first picture. When we came back, she was in her doorway eating rice with a little meat. I went over to her and told her we were on our way home to eat. She then offered to share with me her meat and rice. I was almost speechless that she would share the very little that she had with me. What a sweet kind sister. She is now baptized and a faithful member.
