While the girls were still here we went to an orphanage run by two members of the Church. If anybody watched Seeds of Faith inbetween conference sessions on KSL, these two women above are in that Documentary. These children are so loved and cared for here. A sister, Margie King, who was a former missionary here has come back for 2 years to help in the orphange. She is strictly a volunteer and pays her own way. The children have all been taught the cultural dances of Cambodia. They are so, so good and precise. Above they are doing the monkey dance, and in the middle picture the coconut dance. I wish I would have got that one on video. The picture of the rows of white stuff is a mushroom shed. The children grow these edible mushrooms as a way to raise funds to keep the orphange going. It helps them, but doesn't sustain them. A group of south Korean university students came and helped build this shed last year and this year they built another one that the children are getting ready to grow mushrooms in.

Some of Kali's pictures of our visit to the 3rd Branch (Vietnamese) President. He is the one that has been Branch president for 9 years! Here are Elders Lines and Peterson and Scott tying the ties for these brethren. The branch president was so thrilled to get a tie from President Smedley that he kissed it.
