Scott set apart Elder Haem who went to the Provo MTC to learn Korean. This was February 12th. He flew all alone and it was his first time. We had a few problems at the airport, but he made it fine with 10 minutes to spare to the plane. He was very nervous, but had such great family and branch support. Right now, he is the only Cambodian in all of the MTC and the new senior missionaries that met him, fell in love with him right away.
But Lum Ang is the BP for the Pochentoung Branch. He and his wife just lost a new born little girl. They are so grateful for the living son and also for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that gives them hope of being with her again. They have been to the Temple and are so grateful for that. Friends and family are so happy to see Elder Haem off to serve.
