We had a big 2 District meeting where one new district, the East District was established and a new branch out of the 4th branch. Some parts of branch 11 and 1 were combined also. Three new district presidents were called and 5 new branch presidents. It took 35 minutes to do all the releasings and sustainings. Scott's counselors, Sam Saphong and Eng Bun Hoyt were released. President Eng is the North District President and Sam Saphong is the 4th branch president. President Am Thong and Thoun Chanta were sustained as Scott's new counselors. After the meeting members went to a table where their old branch leaders were to get maps of their meeting times, buildings and areas. Now most members will be within 15 minutes of a church building. Sarat, our part time cook/housekeeper is in the above picture. Her son was sustained as the 1st counselor in the branch.
