It's a Cambodian custom to remove shoes before entering a home. The missionaries all like to do that to enter the mission office. It is not required, but they like to do it. I do not. I leave my shoes on!

Sister Holloway says farewell to her companion who also was leaving to prepare for her offical mission. Sister Lam was helping us out. The Vietnamse speaking missionaries like to get together. Four of them were in Vietnam and always glad to see other missionaries.

Just for fun I took a picture of our Vietnamse speaking missionary from North Ogden, Utah, Elder Chan but goes by Elder Duc here. He has been training in Phnom Penh. Elder An is a more seasoned Elder. He is the first missionary to serve from Kampong Thom Branch. When he first came, he could speak only a little English. He is really applying himself and can speak English quite well now. He is a very good missionary as is Elder Chan (Duc).
