A Trip to Kampong Thom

Scott traveled with Kim Sang from the Service Center on April 5, to look for a possible site for a church building in the future for Kampong Thom.  The Senior couple, Elder and Sister Grimnes took them to several sites.  I stayed home to catch up on a few things.  It was on the road here where Scott got the picture of the chicken and the moto in a van.

Bridges in Kampong Thom.

The Kampong Thom branch president and family.  He and his wife are raising these children. Their daughter lives with them. They have just built this new home.  I have their previous home on the blog about the floods there in November 2011.  We are so happy for him to have this much nicer home with tile floors.  Now he is saving for a better roof.

It's always easy to find the church in Kampong Thom because you turn off the main highway by the elephant and tiger statue.  We have never seen any statue like this in Cambodia. Only in Kampong Thom.
