President and Sister Saphon outside the home.
Our second visit was to a home in better condition than the previous. She even had this nice little flower garden in front of her home with a fence. It was surprising to see this for me. I haven't seen too many little gardens like this.
She has had a knee ailment. She also received a blessing and the branch president arranged for members to help her and the other family get to church. They came the next day also. The girl in yellow is her daughter.
This brother is the Elders Quorum president in the other branch, but he went with us and followed on his moto. He got picked up for not having a license, so President Saphon went back to where the police picked him up and paid the $2.50 fine. This brother has not had the money to pay his license. I think he now has it.
Our third and final visit was to this sister whose home the member's helped build. She lived in a little palm leafed home that was just a lean to. It was located where we are standing. Now she has a bigger home that she can actually stand up in. Her kitchen area is behind us at the foot of the stairs leading to her home. Her three children are pictured here with all of us.
Our very patient tuk tuk driver. He is also a member. Our visits were rewarding as usual. Its always wonderful to meet the members and help any way we can with the challenges in life that they are experiencing.
Loved reading all the updates mom. I get tears in my eyes when I think about you guys having to say goodbye to these special people. It will be hard to leave them. Luckily you still have a while!
