On Saturday, May 29th, we continued on our Zone Activity to the Mekong Delta. This is the rice basket of Vietnam. These little video clips were taken on a tour of the Mekong Delta. We visited three islands. The first second island we visited a little restaurant that gave us many fresh and delicious fruits and people came and sang for us. These are original instruments of Vietnam and is also the singing their cultural way of singing. The canoe trip was delightful and we felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, which I guess we were.

was that music or... something else? It's great to learn to appreciate the music of other cultures! I'm excited to hear it!! And I loved the canoe ride video when you asking dad to turn around and he had that annoyed look and said, "i can't turn around." It cracked me right up!! We are going to be laughing so hard starting in just days!!
