After coming home from the wheelchair handover in the morning on Tuesday. At noon, the same day, December 21st we had a Christmas luncheon for paid staff and spouses. Tay is the only one with small children, so they got to come. Angel and Aaron. Very beautiful and well behaved children. Srey is Tay's wife. Also in attendance were Sarat and her husband, Try son and his wife, Mun Horl, Radi, and President and Sister Chheoum. They all got bonuses and a 50 pound bag of rice, which will probably last for 1/2 month - 2 months depending on how many are using it.
Later in the evening on Tuesday, December 21st, we went to the Minister of Religion's Home, Minh Kin, to deliver a Christmas gift of fruit. He and his wife had been in Vietnam and had just barely returned, but they were very willing to receive us and the gift from us. This is not easy to get an audience in one of the Minister's homes. He was very kind and we hope this good relationship continues through the New Year! From L to R: Suy Leng (from Service Center- a liason and translator, Scott, Minh Kin, his wife, me, Elder and Sister Curtis, the Service Center Directors.
