The Church Office building on the right. If you look close you can see the steeple. It is the golden glow building because of how the sun was shining on it. The middle two pictures of my hand. The bottom picture is before surgery when I didn't have my knuckle because it was over by the cut that you see. The above hand is after the surgery. It is still swollen, but now I have my knuckle back. For those who don't know, I took a fall on the afternoon of our last training. I spent the night in the hospital where I had surgery at 10:00 p.m. in the Adventist Hospital. I would go there any time. They are very clean, organized, careful, kind and competent in all that they did. I was taken care of very well. The above left hand picture is typical of the 700 plus skyscrapers in Hong Kong. More than New York and my understanding more than any city in the world. You may correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway this is the final post of the Hong KongTrip. It was great even with the great fall I took in the middle of the street in Hong Kong.

Mom, I loved all the updates and fun pictures. What a great experience you guys are having. I noticed that you added the option to make a comment on your blog. So I did! I love you!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great with your blog. I wish I was as good! I don't know about your great start with your fall and surgery in Hong Kong, but fortunately, it looks and sounds like you got good care and are healing. Things are good at your home here and we're eagerly getting ready for our mission to Scotland. Love you!
ReplyDeleteJuliet, Your hand looks just horrible!! Way to keep on going. You are a inspiration and a mini lesson on perserverance all by yourself! Cami
ReplyDeleteI sure hope this hand injury doesn't get in the way of you playing the piano, or organ! How lucky you were to have a good Hospital to go to. We think of you every time we go pass your home, so that would be everyday! Good job with your blog! I am so happy you did one!! I love it, and keep it up. You look so good and so happy. May God Continue to bless you.

Falling is not the adventure you're supposed to be having! I'm glad you were able to find a place you were comfortable with for your surgery. I love reading about your mission and LOVE seeing the pictures. You've taken so many of us with you through your blog. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Love, Mimi
ReplyDeleteI hope that your recovery is going well! We are so excited to read about your experiences in Cambodia and with the great people there. I was telling Brooke that we are saving for a mission and I can't wait till we can head out and start sharing the gospel full time. Thank you for sharing the great experiences (even if they are not the most pleasant). We really enjoy getting together to read and view your pictures as a family.
